Drawn. Tested.DECIDED

Juniper AI Labs LLC is an applied artificial intelligence practice working from a drafting bench at 755 S Main St Ste 4-141, Cedar City - 84720-3653, United States (US). We take a fuzzy operational question, ink it as a clean decision tree, and then test that tree against real data until the branches hold under pressure. Every engagement ends the same way: a one-page tree a busy team can actually read, defend and use.

Services on the bench

Six working practices, inked one branch at a time

Juniper AI Labs LLC keeps a deliberately small menu. Each service below is a real workstream we run for teams across southern Utah, and each one is described at length on our services page. We do not sell licenses or dashboards. We draw the tree, test it and hand it over.

A

Decision Model Design

We turn a messy operational choice into an explicit tree of conditions, thresholds and outcomes. Every decision model is drafted on paper first, then encoded, so the logic stays legible to the people who have to live with it. The output is a governed model with named owners for each branch.

C

Evaluation Harnesses

A model without a harness is just an opinion. We build repeatable test rigs that replay historical cases, score every branch and flag the exact inputs that push a decision off course. The harness runs on every change, so a quiet regression never reaches a customer.

E

Data Pipeline Reviews

We audit the path your data travels before it ever reaches a model, looking for silent gaps, duplicated rows and time-zone drift. Most decision errors we find are born long before the model runs, inside a pipeline nobody has re-read in two years.

G

Pilot Rollout Plans

A tested model still has to survive contact with a real team. We stage the rollout in guarded steps, with a rollback branch at every gate and a written success test agreed before the first case goes live. No pilot ships without a named kill switch.

K

Model Monitoring

Decisions drift when the world moves and the inputs do not. We set up quiet monitors that watch branch traffic, flag when one path starts taking more than its share, and alert an owner before the shift becomes a business problem.

N

Team Enablement

We leave your staff able to redraw the tree themselves. Enablement pairs working sessions with plain-language runbooks, so the capability stays in the building after our brief engagement ends and the next change is a short conversation instead of a new project.

Juniper AI Labs LLC opens winter model reviews for southern Utah teams who need a decision they can defend to a board, a regulator or a customer.

Every review ends the same way: one redrawn page, one tested branch set, and a named owner for the next change.

How the practice works

A drafting room, not a black box

Most teams arrive with a decision that has grown too large to hold in one head. Our response is mundane and stubborn. We draw it. We test it. We decide it. The sections below explain what that discipline means in an applied AI practice and why it matters for companies that cannot afford a mysterious model.

We draw before we build

Decision Model Design begins with a physical sketch on a board. We name every condition, mark every threshold and trace what happens when a value falls on either side of a line. This stage catches contradictory rules that would otherwise hide inside code for years. When the sketch finally agrees with the operators who own the process, we encode it, and the finished model reads like the sketch.

The same board discipline feeds our Data Pipeline Reviews, because a tree built on a broken feed is a confident wrong answer. We follow each field backward to its source, check how it is transformed and confirm that the timestamps mean what everyone assumes they mean. You can see the whole method on the services page.

We test before we trust

Evaluation Harnesses turn history into evidence. We replay old cases, score the tree branch by branch and publish the failures rather than smoothing them over. A model that cannot survive its own history is not ready for your customers. Where the harness exposes a weak branch, we redraw it and run the set again until the branch earns its place.

Testing continues after launch through Model Monitoring and Pilot Rollout Plans. A pilot moves in guarded steps with an explicit rollback at every gate, and monitoring keeps watching long after the pilot becomes routine. When something shifts, an owner is named and notified instead of discovering the drift next quarter.

Where we work

Cedar City bench, Canyon Country reach

We are based in Cedar City and we work across the wider region. The problems differ by industry, but the drafting discipline travels well from one bench to the next.

Cedar City and Iron County

Our home bench. We meet teams at 755 S Main St Ste 4-141 for working sessions, and we can sit with an operations group while the tree is still wet. Local engagements favor fast iteration and short feedback loops.

Southern Utah corridors

Teams along the I-15 corridor and out toward the national parks ask the same question in different clothes: which cases get a human and which get a rule. We bring the harness and let the data settle the argument.

Remote and distributed

For distributed teams we run the same review over shared documents and recorded sessions. The board is drawn on camera, the tree is versioned, and the decisions remain as legible as they would be across a physical table.

Bring us the question you cannot put on one page

If your team is stuck between a rule nobody trusts and a model nobody understands, that is exactly the work we take. Send the decision as you currently describe it, tell us what a wrong answer costs, and we will tell you plainly whether a tree, a harness or a pipeline review is the right first move.
